Characteristics of chicken breast plasmalogen
Raw materials for SDGs
Our plasmalogen is made from adult chickens. Adult chickens are hens raised for egg production. Since they are raised for a longer period than broilers, their meat is tough and their use as meat is limited. Therefore, in terms of the effective utilization of adult chickens, we believe that our chicken breast plasmalogen is a useful product that meets the SDGs*. In addition, the raw materials we use are safe and secure domestically raised chickens, which enables us to ensure a stable supply of chicken breast plasmalogen.
* SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are international goals for a sustainable and better world by 2030, as stated in the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" adopted by the UN Sustainable Development Summit held in September 2015. SDGs are consisted of 17 goals and 169 targets and pledge "Leave no one behind." through the implementation.

Listed on the Non-pharmaceutical Materials List
Chicken breast plasmalogen was added to the "non-pharmaceutical materials list" in the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's "Partial Revision of the Standards on the Scope of Pharmaceuticals" notice (April 2018). A product is not deemed to be a drug unless claiming effectiveness and efficacy as a pharmaceutical agent. Therefore, it can be used safely as a food or health food product.
